1 - What does Taradar build?

Fully custom luxury homes, designed from scratch for each client. No templates, no stock plans. We’ve built over 100 homes since 1997, plus select commercial projects such as Hockey Canada’s offices at WinSport.

2 - Where does Taradar build?

Calgary and the areas west of the city, including Springbank, Elbow Valley, Bragg Creek, Cochrane, Rocky View County and the Harmony community.

3 - How long does it take to build a custom Taradar home?

Design usually takes up to three months. Construction typically takes 12 to 18 months, depending on size and selections.

4 - How much does a custom home cost?

Every home is different, so we don’t quote a set price per square foot. Before construction starts, you receive a full line-item budget, so you know exactly where every dollar goes.

5 - Can you build on my own land or acreage?

Yes. Much of our work is on acreages and estate lots in Springbank and Bragg Creek. We’ll look at your site with you before design begins.

6 - What warranty comes with a Taradar home?

Every Taradar home is covered by Progressive New Home Warranty, including 10 years of structural defect, 5 years building envelope, 2 years mechanical, 1 year materials and labour.

7 - How does the design process work?

We work with Al McDowell & Associates to design the home around your land, your family and how you live. You’ll be involved at every step.

8 - Can I build a custom home in Harmony?

Yes. Taradar is the only fully custom builder in Harmony, with lakefront and estate lots available. Visit us at the Harmony Discovery Centre, 1630 Harmony Circle.
